Overview

Neil Smith is driven by a singular goal: to work on cases that truly make a difference. Throughout his career, he has been a tenacious advocate for abused children, standing up against a spectrum of abusers including evangelists, teachers, coaches, deacons, pastors, counselors, doctors, elders, gurus, pharmacists, and ministers. Because of his work, organizations that have harmed innocent children have been stripped of their assets and their members have been held accountable. Neil is passionate about establishing relationships with his clients while working on cases that bring about positive changes.

Neil's commitment to positive change is evident in his landmark cases, including his representation of the seven child brides of televangelist Tony Alamo, as featured in the documentary "Ministry of Evil." His successes also extend to battles against powerful religious entities, including several cases against the Jehovah’s Witnesses, with one landmark case culminating in a $35 million verdict in 2018.

Outside the courtroom, Neil enjoys running and riding his bike. He is particularly proud of his finishes at Western States 100, Leadville 100, and Badwater 135.
