Overview

Andrew Bullard knew he wanted to be a trial lawyer when he was fifteen. Born and raised in Kerens, Texas, he later attended Howard Payne University to play tennis and begin laying the foundation for his legal career. Following Howard Payne, Andrew put law school on hold to pursue a coaching career in tennis. In 2012, he earned a master's degree at Hardin-Simmons University, where he served as the graduate assistant for the men’s and women’s tennis teams. Later that year, Andrew moved west to serve as the Head Tennis Coach at Odessa Permian High School in Odessa, Texas: yes, the "Friday Night Lights" school. Although he loved coaching, the trial lawyer dream never wavered.

In 2015, Andrew attended Oklahoma City University School of Law. The hard work, long hours, victories and defeats he experienced as a coach prepared him for the difficulties of navigating law school. While at OCU he accumulated more than 250 pro bono service hours and received multiple CALI Excellence Awards including Trial Advocacy and Texas Civil Procedure. He was also a member of OCU’s Law Review, Order of Barristers, and American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) National Mock Trial Team, and graduated with honors.

During law school, Andrew interned for the Honorable Judge Martin Hoffman, 68th Judicial District Court, Dallas County. This internship led to a happenstance meeting with founding partner, Jim Mitchell, whom Andrew later interned for. Both internships solidified his desire to become a trial lawyer by representing injured victims and their families during what is typically the most difficult time in their lives.

Andrew joined Payne Mitchell Ramsey in August 2018. Since then, he has been successfully representing injured victims in products liability, medical malpractice, and various other personal injury cases. Andrew now lives in Ennis, Texas with his wife Kaitlyn, daughter Steele, and their dog Abby.
