Andy Payne Settles Seat Belt Failure Case Resulting in Partial Ejection and Fatal Injury
Andy Payne settled a case against Ford Motor Company for a significant confidential sum. The Marsh family was driving home when their Ford Expedition left the roadway and rolled. The Marsh’s 17 year old son was properly restrained in the front seat of the Expedition, but was fatally injured when his seat belt spooled out allowing him to partially eject from the vehicle. The case was pending in California and settled after hard fought litigation.
