    Andrew Bullard

    Andrew Bullard born and raised in Kerens, Texas, joined PayneMitchell Law Group in August 2018 after serving as an intern for Jim Mitchell during law school. Andrew graduated from Howard Payne University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science, emphasizing in pre-law studies. While at Howard Payne, Andrew was a member of the university men’s tennis team, moot court team, and was a National Semi-Finalist in Debate. From HPU, Andrew put law school on hold and entered the coaching field.

    Andrew earned a Master Degree in Kinesiology from Hardin-Simmons University in 2012 and began coaching/teaching at Odessa Permian High School. After three years, Andrew decided to give law school another go; thereby, uprooting from Odessa with his wife Kaitlyn to study at Oklahoma City University School of law. During law school, Andrew accumulated several honors, including: graduating with honors, multiple trial advocacy awards as a member of the University’s American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) National Mock Trial Team, Law Review, Order of Barristers and earned multiple CALI Excellence awards including: Trial Advocacy and Texas Civil Procedure. Additionally, Andrew accumulated over 250 pro bono service hours, a portion of which was spent serving as an intern for The Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th Judicial District Court, Dallas, County. It was during this time he met, and subsequently interned for, Jim Mitchell.

    One highlight of Andrew’s law school experience was the opportunity to compete in mock trial, and argue as a moot court finalist before The Honorable Judge Robert E. Bacharach of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Together those experiences confirmed his desire to be in the court room.

    Andrew enjoys tennis, golf, cooking, the outdoors, and competing against his wife for the title of House-Hold Jeopardy Champion.
